I had two weddings today one small and the other a little larger. I woke this Morning thinking about my brides. It had rained all night so it was very wet and the whole day did not look any better. I took this wedding to Albion Mi. To Starr Commonwealth it to was going to be an outside wedding! The more I drove the darker it got! But the bride said the wedding was going to be outside and not in the chapel.
They got the chairs up and I stayed to see my bride in her dress I snap a couple of pictures and drove off as I was driving back the sun was shining through the clouds and it got really sunny, just in time for my bride to walk down the aisle. Here are a couple picture of the bride's day~ Enjoy

May at Brook Lodge

I feel very blessed that I am doing so many weddings this season at the lodge. Last month we all got the word that by January 1st 2010 they will no longer be open! That's right they will no longer be hosting wonderful, great weddings for anyone they will close their doors do to the economy~ I feel so bad I have really gotten to know the wedding staff at the lodge and have become quite fond of all of them.
Anyways here is photos I got to take in the gardens today. This was one of the weddings I just had the best time with, the bride was a gem and really let me do my stuff. She was also very detailed(I love that). Here she is~

Karen wanted vendella roses, blue delphiniums, blue hydrangeas, green cymbidium orchids. For her maids they also had some of the same mix with a little bit of the green Kermit pomps, and green spider mums.... I love it Great colors.

For the garden I got to make wonder pomander flower balls, with Daisy pomp's, and green hypericum berries. As you can see they were stunning.

Whirl wind weekend!

The first brides bouquet was of yellow roses, yellow Asiatic Lilly, blue delphiniums, mini callas, and Lilly of the valley right from my friend Jenny's own garden! I also added a monogram to her bouquet!

You know there are times when you think you can do it all? Well this weekend was one of them for me. I designed 3 weddings for Saturday~ 2 were on the smaller side and one was quite large. I got to take a couple of photos of the smaller ones (maybe I will get some from their collection). But I did manage my final wedding at Brook Lodge to snap a few of the bride. She was very happy with her flowers in return makes me very happy too. All 3 weddings had the same color cornflower blue used!

This bride choice of flowers was vendella roses, fern curls, Blue delphiniums and chocolate cosmos! in a dome shape design
